Thanks for visiting Pacey Productions.
A little about me . . . I am an actor/director/playwright living in Melbourne, Australia.
My theatre writing journey really began when my twin girls were 5 years old. Although there were occasional theatre productions for kids in the city, there wasn’t much in the local theatre scene. I wanted to create shows that were affordable for families, delightful for kids and equally enjoyable for parents, grandparents, uncles, aunties and friends that were (perhaps reluctantly) coming along.
Thus, my version of the 3 Little Pigs was born. This production saw a whole new audience attend our little theatre and was celebrated by all. As it was a artistic and financial success I followed it with Goldilocks.
Pacey Productions, and this website, is my response to all of the audience members who asked if these shows were available for other theatre companies or schools to do.
So I offer not only my 2 musicals for young audiences my short plays for general audiences. I want to encourage theatre companies (large or small), schools, or profit share groups to have fun with these productions
I sincerely hope you enjoy them as much as I (and my kids) do.
